My Story

Career Coach. Product Leader. Advocate for bold career moves.
I’ve spent 20 years building and leading teams at places like Google, Microsoft, Bose, and even in pro sports. I’ve hired, promoted, and coached people across product, strategy, design, and engineering. I’ve seen hundreds of resumes, run more interviews than I can count, and made hiring calls for every kind of role.
Now I help professionals like you do the same—on your terms.
Whether you’re early in your career, switching into tech, preparing for a promotion, or figuring out how to negotiate a better offer—I’ve been on the other side of that table, and I know what works.
My coaching is practical, strategic, and completely tailored to your goals. We’ll define what you want, sharpen how you show up, and make a plan to go get it.
I’m not here to “motivate” you—I’m here to guide, challenge, and support you through the hard, high-stakes career stuff. From resumes to mindset, interviews to negotiations, I’ll help you move with clarity and confidence.
About Me.
I’ve spent 15+ years building and leading product teams across some of the most complex and high-impact spaces in tech—AI/ML, big data, IoT, and enterprise software. My work spans consumer experiences, platform tools, and internal systems at companies like Microsoft, Google, and Bose. Along the way, I’ve launched new business lines, overhauled customer journeys, and scaled product orgs from the ground up.
I’ve shipped products used by millions—across cloud platforms, devices, apps, and enterprise systems.
At Microsoft, I led product for Azure’s Time Series Insights platform and shipped multiple features in Windows 10, including Windows Ink. At Google Cloud, I drove GTM and product for AI/ML infrastructure. At Bose, I helped launch new software experiences for Ultra Headphones, QuietComfort Earbuds, and other flagship products. I’ve also delivered large-scale fan experiences and emerging tech pilots for the Atlanta Falcons and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Hiring and team-building is one of my core strengths.
I’ve led recruiting for hundreds of roles across the product org—especially PMs, but also engineers, product marketers, program managers, and UX leaders. I’ve built and scaled high-performing teams in big tech, early-stage startups, consumer electronics, and pro sports. Whether it’s defining the role, shaping the narrative, running the loop, or making the final call, I know what “great” looks like—and how to spot it.
Right now, I lead a product team at Microsoft focused on transforming Azure’s customer care experience with AI. Before that, I was brought in by Bose to build their software product management org from scratch. I’ve also taught product management at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business and hold a Master’s in Computer Science (AI) and an MBA in strategy from Georgia Tech.
Beyond the day job, I run Beachtree—my coaching practice for mid-career professionals making bold career moves. I’ve helped 100+ clients land roles they love, negotiate meaningful raises, and grow into stronger leaders. I’m also a longtime nonprofit board member and volunteer, especially for organizations focused on kids and healthcare.
I live in Atlanta with my wife, three kids, and a golden retriever named Charlie. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me running (ultras, trails, and road), skiing, or soaking up family life.
